All the documents collected and used in the process of arguing the Case for Mother Marie-Rose’s Canonization are collected in two volumes called “The Positio” (in Latin positio supervirtutibus or position on the virtues).
This imposing document – it’s not unusual for a positio to run to over 1,000 pages – brings together the evidence gathered during a thorough diocesan investigation into the virtues of the candidate. The first volume, Positio – Super Causae Introductione, contains a biographical profile, the history of the Case and the virtues of the foundress of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary (SNJM).
The second volume, Positio – Super Virtutibus, brings together the testimonials on which the information gathered in the first book is based.
