Celebrated since 1914 by the Church, the World Day of Migrants and Refugees is an opportunity to raise awareness of the situation experienced by thousands of vulnerable people, forced to displacement for one reason or another.
It is an invitation to pray for all these people, to understand their experiences and to be open to their contribution to our society. The theme Towards an ever wider “we” chosen by the Pope for his annual message reflects this call.
