Where are the portals for change? Where are the values that may
guide us forward?
– Mary Evelyn Tucker and John Grim

The Water-Ecology Committee presents a special edition of its newsletter, entitled A Litany in Response to the Cry of the Earth. Rooted in the Congregation’s corporate stand on integral ecology, it looks both at the woes of our planet in the face of climate change, and at the groups and actors who are sowing hope with their daily actions.

The publication also echoes other texts on integral ecology, such as the Earth Charter and Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’, and invites you to pursue your own reflection in the light of the intentions mentioned in it.

The Water-Ecology Committee is made up of sisters Josephine Chudzik (Manitoba), Mary Annette Dworshak (U.S.-Ontario) and Yvonne Massicotte (Manitoba) and the following SNJM affiliates: Dorothy Guha (QC), Pat Iwata (US-Ontario) and Sharon Elliott (US-Ontario).

The newsletter is available in English, French and Spanish.
