June 9. International Archives Day

Launched in 2007 by the International Council on Archives, the International Archives Day, celebrated on June 9¹, recalls that:

•  the archives are not only for employees of the organization;
•  the archives are part of the heritage of our society;
•  the preservation and the promotion of those unique sources of information are essential to the defence of human rights.

The archives bear witness to the history of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary.
