| Since
our foundation,
our
concern has been to promote
education in all its forms.
This spirit of our origins always
motivates us.
In our complex 21st century world,
our desire for justice and solidarity
has moved us to look for new ways to be involved.
Our ministries have therefore evolved,
and have diversified in order to meet
contemporary needs.
Conscious of the strength
of interdependence,
we wish to promote dialogue
and foster collaboration
wherever we are with women
and men of our time.

of the 31st General Chapter, 2001)
